Dr. Rivera is a 2020 graduate of Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee, but she has worked with animals in various capacities since 1991 (including Animal Humane, New Mexico, and Best Friends Animal Society). She has two bachelor’s degrees from the University of New Mexico, where she majored in biology and Spanish with minors in chemistry and Japanese. Dr. Rivera is fluent in Spanish and eager to provide veterinary care to our Spanish-speaking community. She lives at home with her boyfriend, youngest son, two cats, and five dogs. In her free time, you’ll find her reading or puttering around the garden.

Dr. Rivera, a 2020 graduate of Lincoln Memorial University, has worked with animals since 1991. Fluent in Spanish, she is passionate about serving the Spanish-speaking community. She lives with her boyfriend, son, two cats, and five dogs, and enjoys reading and gardening.

Dr. Liz Dalzell
Veterinarian
Dr. Dalzell, a Florida native, lives in Brooksville with her husband, Kelly, their two children, and dog, Paisley. She earned her DVM from St. George's University in 2014, completing her clinical year at Auburn University. Inspired by her love of animals and guided by a veterinary mentor, she pursued her passion after first exploring other careers. Dr. Dalzell began in emergency medicine and has practiced in several states before returning to Florida in 2021 to be closer to family.

Veterinarian
Dr. Carolyn Kohn has over 20 years of veterinary experience and cares for a wide range of patients, including exotics, birds, and reptiles - but not spiders or venomous species. She shares her home with four cats and a 20-year-old macaw, and enjoys crafting, kayaking, reading, and video games in her free time.
