Denise Langone, Office Manager
Denise Langone was born and raised in Queens, New York. She moved from Long Island, New York to Florida in 1994. She began working for the Animal Medical Clinic in March of 1996 where she was able to realize her life-long dream of working with animals. Since then she has worked as a receptionist, a veterinary assistant and later as a veterinary technician. She received a diploma in Animal Science in 1999. In 2005 she became certified in several forms if canine and pet massage therapy. Presently she is employed as the Animal Medical Clinic’s Office Manager.

Anna Iversen, C.V.T. and Back Office Supervisor
Anna was born in Illinois, (GO BEARS!) and is a die-hard Chicago Bears’ Fan. She graduated from Parkland College with a degree in Veterinary Technology in 1992. She moved to Florida in 1996, and also became an employee of the Animal Medical Clinic the same year. Since the start of her employment at the Animal Medical Clinic she has become a wonderful loving mother to many pets that have come through the clinic needing a home. At this current point in time she is sharing her home with four mixed breed puppies of various ages and sizes. |

Jennifer Hind, Front Office Supervisor
Jennifer Hind was born in Ontario, Canada. She moved to Florida at the age of five. She began working at the Animal Medical Clinic as a receptionist in June of 2003, and is now the Front Office Manager. She is the proud owner of a beautiful beagle, Chihuahua, and four fantastic felines.

Amy Laskowski, Certified Veterinary Technician
Amy was born in New Jersey and moved to Florida as a kid in 1990. She started working at Animal Medical Clinic as a receptionist, but is now a Certified Veterinary Technician. Amy received her Associates in Arts in December 2001, a Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science from University of Florida in 2006, and Associates in Science in Veterinary Technology from the St. Petersburg College in December 2008. She loves animals and has 6 cats, 3 dogs, and 1 hairless rat. Amy also shares her home with her two year old son, along with all of her wonderful animals!

Penny Johnson, Veterinary Technician Assistant/Wildlife Coordinator/Geriatric Coordinator
Penny was born in Detroit, Michigan, and moved to Florida as a child. She returned back to Michigan, and eventually moved back to Florida. She has now been in the same area for over 25 years. She worked in several trades until she found her true love of a career working with animals. She started working at Animal Medical Clinic in August 2004, and completed a veterinary technician assistant course in 2006. She has found and re-homed many animals through her work here at AMC. She loves her job and co-workers. Penny has a son who has recently moved to Nevada, who just became a parent to a little girl boxer puppy. She lives with her husband and daughter, as well as many, many critters!

Jessica Preston, Veterinary Technician Assistant
Jessica was born in Dade City, Florida and then was raised in the Brooksville/Spring Hill, Florida area. She attended Hernando High School and graduated in 2003. During both her Junior and Senior year of high school, she took part in the Brooksville Sr. FFA program, and was the Treasurer of the organization during her senior year. She is now attending Pasco-Hernando Community College in order to earn her AA degree, and then will be transferring to St. Pete College where she will complete her studies in earning a degree in Business Administration along with receiving her CVT. She became a part of the Animal Medical Clinic in May of 2007, and loves her job working hand in hand with both animals and people. Jessica as always had an open heart and arms for all animals that have walked into her life, and the most recent addition is a two year old Boxer that she had adopted through the AMC.

David White, Veterinary Technician Assistant
David has been working as a veterinary assistant for most of the last 12 years. He grew up on a farm in Indiana where his love for animals began. He moved to Florida about 14 years ago where he meet his wife Kristie at the Jungleland Zoo, where they both worked. Their family consists of their “children” of two dogs, Mystra and Tika, and three cats Circe, Snowball, and Isis.

Chrissy Dushane, Front Office Assistant
Chrissy was born in Largo, Florida, but has lived in Brooksville, Florida the past 26 years. She has always had a deep love for animals, growing up owning horses, dogs, cats, birds, chickens, and rabbits. She currently owns 3 dogs, an American Bulldog Buck, an American Pitbull Terrier Snickers, and their son Buster. Chrissy has always had a strong love for the “bully” dog breeds. She is currently living in Weeki Wachee where she shares her home with her husband and children, human and canine alike. She is looking forward to pursing her career in the veterinary field here at Animal Medical Clinic.

Colleen Allan, Groomer
Colleen’s love for animals started as a young girl, caring for stray animals that she found, or that found her. She began grooming in February of 1979 and joined the AMC in 1994. The most rewarding thing for her is to known that she has rescued and placed hundreds of cats and dogs along the way throughout her life and career.
